Orecchiette with turnip tops

Turnip greens pesto is the sauce of Apulian cookery for excellence, particularly from the district of Bari. It is prepared with fresh turnip greens, a typical vegetable of the fall and winter season, with an intense and slightly spicy flavour, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and anchovies. We propose the more traditional version: with pre-cooked orecchiette pasta to be seasoned with turnip pesto and ready-made florets! Pasta and pesto are sold separately.
